Our Opening Event
Opening Event Highlights – April 4th, 2025
A look back at our official opening event in April, thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the launch of Indoor Padel New Zealand, the first venue in the Padel Australasia network. It was a proud moment to open the doors to our 24/7 indoor court and bring the global padel movement to Browns Bay.
The day was filled with incredible energy, an exciting exhibition match, and a strong sense of community on our iconic purple court.
Special thanks to our players Ignacio Acuña (Indoor Padel New Zealand's coach), Blair Tarrant, Jorge Goiko, and Jonty Elmes, and to Hockey New Zealand and Pacific Padel for making the match possible.
We’re also grateful to our MC Matty Thomas, our sponsors Babolat Padel, Red Bull NZ, and LSKD Aotearoa, DJ Junior Mach for keeping the vibe alive, and Natalia’s Food Journey for fuelling the day.
